Tan Bhuripanyo, an Australian monk of 8 Vassa, will visit Dhammagiri from 5 January to 16 January.
Many members of the community will remember him from several previous visits including a year long stay in 2017. Amongst other things, he oversaw the creation of the now massive bamboo screen along the new neighbour's fence line. Since then he has stayed at Amaravati and Cittaviveka monastery in the UK where he lived together with Luang Por Sumedho and is currently living at Bodhipala monastery near Adelaide.
He is visiting his parents in Brisbane during Christmas and New Year and plans to visit Dhammagiri after that. We look forward to seeing him here again.
