Recordings of Ajahn Nandiyo's One Day Retreat Sun 16/11 at Dhammagiri











Ajahn Nandiyo has completed 19 vassas as a bhikkhu. Originally from Germany, and ordained at Wat Pah Nanachat/Wat Nong Pah Pong in Thailand, about two years ago he has taken over the abbotship of Bodhinyanarama Monastery from Ajahn Kusalo.


Ajahn Nandiyo was staying with us from Saturday 08/11 until Sunday 16/11, including our Robe Offering Ceremony on Sun 9/11.

On Saturday morning 15/11, Ajahn Nandiyo conducted the Triple Refuge & Precepts Session and Meditation at 07.30 am.




On Sunday 16/11, we conducted our one day retrat program with Ajahn Nandiyo in our usual format:

  • The ceremony at 9.00 am is not just for those observing 8 precepts as it includes the option of taking only 5 precepts

     

  • Please observe Noble Silence out of consideration for yogis meditating all day. In particular, the back verandah is reserved only for those wishing to observe Nobel Silence

     

  • It is possible to participate only for parts of the program, but please be seated in the Dhammahall at least 15 minutes before start of sessions.
