Morning: 07.30 - 08.30 am - Morning Chanting & Refuge/Precept Ceremony 08.30 - 10.00 am - Silent Meditation 10:00 - 10:30 am - Preparation for Almsoffering 10.30 - 11:45 am - Almsoffering, Anumodana, Shared Meal 11.45 am -12.45 pm - Dhamma Reflections & Discussion


Evening:

08.00 pm - Arrival of Participants for Precepts Ceremony Silent Meditation in Dhammahall 08.30 pm - Chanting, Guided Meditation, Triple Refuge, Determining 5 Precepts for 2023 09.15 pm - Break / Walking Meditation 09.30 pm - Dhammatalk / Guided Meditation. 10.30 pm - Tea Break (non-alcoholic drinks only) 11.00 pm - Asking forgiveness from triple Gem and Circumambulation of the Bodhi tree. 00.00 am - End of Program

The first part of the program from 8.00 pm to 9.15 pm is meant for those who aspire to observe the 5 precepts throughout 2023, and wish to make a genuine commitment. It is possible to arrive at 9.15 pm and join only the remaining program. Please bring long stemmed flowers for offering at the Bodhi Tree at Midnight

Please Note:

  • It is possible to participate only for parts of any of the programs.

  • All the events mentioned will actually start at the times given in the program.

  • Please arrive 30 mins early for food offering at 10.30am.

  • Please be seated in the Dhammahall for quiet meditation 15mins before the

start of meditation/chanting sessions


Apart from the special events mentioned above, our normal program continues with Almsoffering and Dhamma discussion from 10.30am to 12.45 pm every day, and the

regular Saturday 07.30 am and Sunday 03.00 pm sessions
