About
Ajahn Dhammasiha ordained as a Buddhist monk in 1995 at Nissarana Vana, Meetirigala, Sri Lanka. His practice was guided by the original Pali scriptures, and the teachings of Ven Nyanavimala and Ven Nyanadipa.
From 1998 he lived in Forest Monasteries of the tradition of Ajahn Chah in Australia, where he received teachings by some of the foremost Thai meditation masters, like Luang Por Tui and Luang Por Plien.
Since 2007 he is the founding abbot of Dhammagiri Forest Hermitage near Brisbane.
